I took Zeus and Athena along to meet our Shiloh friend at the dog park. Val is really cute. She remembered me and ran right over. As you can see, we had a little time together over the water pail.

Here is my brother Zeus, and little sis Athena at the beach. I went diving. Had to throw up because I swallowed so much seawater. That wasn't fun. But we had a great time.

New Family Member

We have a new family member. We have Athena joining us. She is really a fun puppy (5 months) that just loves to play. I let her get me on the floor and hold me down. She thinks she is so tough. Zeus is getting used to her and playing with her.

Titan and Zeus go to the beach

Zeus loves to run and play in the lawn sprinklers. So, Titan decided to take him to the beach. This was the first time at the ocean for Zeus. I love running through the water but Zeus wasn't so sure. He saw that seal out there. Maybe, we will try again.

Titan has a new buddy. We adopted Zeus (1 year old German Shep) from the animal shelter. He was picked up while running with a female German Shep. She was hit by a car and died. It has taken a couple of weeks but they are best buds now. Play and run together.

I met Sierra for a fun day at the beach. She didn't want to go in the water but I finally convinced her it was fun. Sierra is 18 months old.

2010 Pet Expo

We had a lot of friends come be with and see us at the Pet Expo. We were really tired at the end of the 3 days. I even had a Monitor Lizard come and see who we were. My little girl friend did not want to leave me. I told her it was okay and to go with her parents.
I also have sad news. My friend Roxy went over the Rainbow Bridge 3 weeks ago. She was our motherly type in the house. Whenever I made too much noise or played too much, she would come and make me calm down. She would stay there until I got under control She had bone cancer in her front leg. She told us it was time to go though we all wanted her to stay with us longer. We all miss her so much.

I met Sierra for the first time in October, 2009. She was such a great pup. We had fun together.
Sierra is 10 months old. She is really cute and fun to be with.

Shiloh Get Together

I went to meet my Shiloh friends at Rincon Beach in Ventura , Ca in August 2009.
I met Udo from Arizona for the first time. Cairo and Big Jake were there too.
We had a great time at the beach.

We had 8-10 inches of snow on December 17, 2008. Titan loved it. He was out playing in the snow storm and in the snow afterwards.

California Pet Expo

I attended the California Pet Expo in Costa Mesa, Ca on 11-13 April 2008. It was a fun time where I got to meet some more of my fellow Shiloh Shepherds (Amber, Cairo, Zeke, Ivy, Lupo, Kenai, Koda, & Timber).
All the people couldn't believe how big we were. Everyone wanted to pet me and give me hugs.
Everywhere we went people wanted to know what breed of dog we were. It was hard to maintain my calm, cool image with all the attention I received.

Titan met with his cousin Cairo on Sunday October 7, 2007. We went to Jackson Lake in the Angeles National Forest. They had a good time together especially teasing each other. Looking forward to the next meeting.

I have a new 2 month old kitten, Speedy. We adopted him and brought him home. I protect him and let him eat my food and sleep next to me. When he is lost, I get to go find him. He loves to hit our tails and ears as we walk by.

He gets very tired. Whenever he needs to sleep, he just falls over wherever he is and falls asleep.

I I was at the Pet Expo with my buddy Big Jake showing everyone what a REAL ISSR Shiloh is all about. Big Jake is better at greeting everyone than I am. But I'm working on it. We had fun greeting all our Shiloh fans. We were exhausted after 3 days. We met new Shiloh Owner in training, Scott. Hopefully, we'll meet Jenna soon.

Titan and the Jessie/Sirius litter will be 2 years old on 31 October 2006. He continues to grow. We are still Shiloh owners in training.

Titan is in Agility Training. He is really taking to it and loves the dog walk. He is now 22 months old.

Titan Update at 20 months

Titan is now 20 months old. Starting to fill out and gaining weight.
Completed a month of Agility training. He is getting used to the obstacles and starting to charge the course. He's learning fast.

We first saw a Shiloh

We first saw a Shiloh Shepherd at the Los Angeles Pet Expo about 8 years ago. We loved the breed and kept thinking about the Shiloh. We also were watching the Leonberger over the years.
Every year we went back to the Pet Expo looking for the Shiloh. Over the last couple of years the Shiloh disappeared from the shows.
In 2004, we received an inheritance. We decided that it was now or never to obtain a Shiloh. We searched the breeders and decided on Strauss Hauss Shepherds. We contacted Jessica. She worked with us and Titan came to us in March 2005. Titan and Guenther represented the Shilohs at the 2005 Pomona, California Pet Expo. The Shilohs are back!!!
Titan is slowly training us as his owners. Apparently, we are meeting his requirements. He has not totally given up on our ability to be properly trained.
Titan has taken over the household. Only our Chow mix will not give in to his supremacy. Everyone else has fallen in line.
We are SSDCA members and Titan is ISSR registered.
Titan is 10 months old on 01 Sept 2005.
